ActiveGo is the only commercially supported distribution of Go (Golang). Download and install Go binaries with ActiveGo Community Edition and get started free in development.
Click on Linux Download Link to download go1.4.2.linux-amd64.tar.gz at the time of this writing, this is the latest version 4. Open your bash terminal to perform all installation steps below.
- Download the latest version of GoLand for Windows, macOS or Linux. Coming in 2020.3. GoLand includes an evaluation license key for a free 30-day trial.
- Download the latest Go package (.pkg) file from Go’s official downloads page. Open the package and follow the on-screen instructions to install Go. By default, Go will be installed in /usr/local/go.
